Watashi no Umareta 《Chiheisen》The <Horizon> I Was Born Into is the fifth song of Ema ni Negai wo! (Prologue Edition) a listener may encounter. It is played after either Shokuzai to 《Homura》 no IbukiThe Breath of Atonement and <Flame> or Kurayami o Terasu HIKARILight that Shines Upon Darkness, based on whether the Left or Right choice was selected after Yoru no Ingou ga Miseta YumeDreams Brought by the Night’s Karma, respectively. The song has four equally probable intro videos that differ in the voice that says the first line in the lyrics, "Aru shoujo no kiokuA certain girl's memories". Once the song finishes, the listener is shown an outro video, determined by both the route they are on (the result of the first choice) and what they chose for the second choice. If for the first choice the Left option was chosen, Koi wa Hate Made TomaranaiLove Won't Stop Till the End will play next. If the Right option was chosen, then Nishikaze no You ni Kakenukero!!Blaze Past like the West Wind! will play.

Lyrics

A certain girl's memories

The <⛩️orizon> I was Born into

It is the great beyond of sins,
The memories of a girl.
What kind of questions will this episode ask of life?

I’ve never known my mother
“But I’m not lonely at all”, well, that’s a lie

I feared my own reflection in the mirror
As it seemed to accuse me of my sin

What kind of girl did my late mother wish for me to be?
I’m sorry...that I’ve grown to be such a pushover…

What is [happiness]?
What is [the meaning of life]?

My strait-laced father foregos alcohol
But there would be one night per year when he’d stay up late, drinking his heart out

It was hard for me to look at his shivering shoulders
As he gazed upon the <barren garden>...

Misfortune befell most of those who approached me
I was deemed a girl that spread curses
Nicknamed <Himiko, ancient queen that ruled over her nation with demonic arts>

The boys that stood up for me
The teachers that were kind to anyone
The girls that schemed behind my back
All of them equally led to my isolation

“What are these people playing at...?”

This miniature garden is a microcosm of the <⛩️orizon>[world] at large
A <system that revolves around> the strong oppressing the weak, trampling over them

Ah...
They extend their roots to compete for water...
They unfold their leaves to compete for light...
They reach out their hands and would even take life...

This darkness is the <⛩️orizon> I was born into
