Lyrics

“Perhaps she...is my Elys...”

Lord, I have murdered.
With these hands, I have murdered a precious woman[person].

Now that I think back on it, I was incredibly timid ever since I was small.
For some reason, I've always been apprehensive about 'others'.

The world that I'm aware of and the world that others are aware of.
The feelings that I know and the feelings that others know.

『Being different』 was an unbearable fear to me.
Because I subconsciously knew that it would lead to 『rejection』.

I was scared of even joining cheerful sounding conversations.
I didn't know what kind of smile to show others.

How wonderful would it be if I could just become air! So I've always shut my mouth.
And she was the first one who called out to me.

She was a beautiful girl[person], she was a gentle girl[person].
Her tender smile that was much like the moon left an impression on me.

I was a bit unsure at first, but I've immediately taken a liking to her.
I've learned much from my long bouts of interaction with her.

『Being different』 is simply 『being unique』, the 『acknowledging』 of 『others』.
What's important isn't 『being the same』, but 『understanding each other』.
But on a certain issue, I was simply 『much too different』 from her.

I knew the pain of maddening flames of love and lust burning my body.
I couldn't even do anything about it - I had 『fallen so deeply in love with her』.

I gathered up my courage, and confessed all of my feelings.
However, they were 『rejected』 by her.
Her words back then were very sad.
I knew from that decisive 『difference』, that we could not 『understand each other』.

My memories from that point on were strangely objective.
She ran away crying, and I took after her.

Maidens of《Distorted Song of Sexual Perversion》[Baroque] tumbled on the pavements as if tangled in each other.
While cursing love, we tumbled down the stone stairs...

This twisted heart, this twisted seashell,
Is my red pearl distorted?

It's not like I confessed in hopes of gaining forgiveness from anyone.
Because this sin is the bond that ties me and her together.
I will not even let God forgive this sin...

“Then I shall forgive...”

Virgin of twisted pearl, two young girls of distortion...
[Baroque Vierge, Baroque deux jeune fille...]

-violent thunder. An approaching silhouette.
Before anyone noticed, a『masked man』stood within the depths of the altar...

Virgin of twisted pearl, two young girls of distortion...
[Baroque Vierge, Baroque deux jeune fille...]
