El’s Picture Book【The Flute-playing Man and the Parade】 (in Japanese エルの絵本【笛吹き男とパレード】, Eru no Ehon【Fuebuki Otoko to Pareedo】) is the ninth track on Sound Horizon's fourth story CD Elysion.

Lyrics

Where did that parade come from...

Ah...that parade goes on boundlessly...

“O, friend! O sinless prisoners,
We were set free from the chains that bind us- the world itself.
We won't refuse anyone, but we'll never forgive those who desert.
Welcome to the funeral march at dusk...the paradise parade!”

The parade goes on boundlessly → aiming for the world's end
A masked man plays a flute at the front → turning his back onto the setting sun
The parade goes on boundlessly → aiming for the world's end
The girl sitting on the man's shoulder sings → along with the flute's sound

Enchanting sounds, irresistible to those who bear deep wounds within their hearts...

“Hey there, friend! Comrades in misfortune,
We were set free from the chains that bind us - the world itself.
We won't refuse anyone who comes forth, but we'll never forgive those who desert.
Welcome to the transient finale...the paradise parade!”

The parade goes on boundlessly → aiming for the world's end
A woman with red hair like flames dances → receiving the setting sun with her back
The parade goes on boundlessly → aiming for the world's end
A 《disgusting》[grotesque] tattoo of a hanged pierro laughs → along with the sound of that flute

Enchanting sounds, irresistible to those who keep deep darkness within their hearts...

Tempted by the sound of the flute, they lined up one after another
Eventually, that parade will obstruct the setting sun and cover the horizon...

For example, a young girl who believed in the ark...
For example, a maiden with a twisted pearl...
For example, a daughter who mistook her harvest...
For example, an elder sister whose younger sister was sacrificed...
For example, a woman who danced to the stars...
None of them can escape from the masked man ABYSS...

“Good day to you, pitiful lady. Welcome to the paradise parade!”

Manipulating the sounds of the flute, he adds people to the queue one by one
Eventually, that parade shall betray the setting sun and burn away the horizon...

Ah...that parade goes on boundlessly...
Where is that parade heading towards...
