光陰は矢の如く過ぎ去り、大樹にも幾つかの年輪を刻む。
齢十五の朝を迎えることとなった、そんな私が……。

燭台の揺れる焔ひかり　仄昏い闇を照らす　石壁の部屋を廻まわり　古い塔へ上がる
狭い螺旋型ねじの　階段を昇ると　部屋の中　独り　老婆が麻を紡いでいた

「こんにちは、お婆さん。ここで何してるの？」
「糸を取っておりますのじゃ」
「じゃあ、それなぁに？面白そうに、ぐるぐる跳ね回っている物！？」

「なるほど…それで君は、野ばらに抱かれたわけだね。
目覚めへと至る、口付けが欲しいのかい？だが、残念ながら私は君の王子様じゃない。
さあ…もうしばし、運命の相手は夢の世界で待つものさ…」

僕の理想の花嫁は　何処にいるのだろう？
嗚呼　西も東も　北も南も　雨にも負けず　風にも負けず
捜したけれど　見つからない……と思ってた矢先に
素晴らしい　噂を聞いた――

～野ばらの生垣に　抱かれた白亜の城

石壁の部屋を飛ばし、古い塔へ上がる。

部屋の中、独り、乙女が横臥よこたわっていた……。

「さぁ姫、心の準備は宜しいかな？」
「いただきます」
「んん」
「復讐劇の始まりだ…」

予定調和な王子の接吻で姫が目覚めると、
役割を終えた野ばらは、立ち所に立ち枯れて朽ち果て、
長過ぎる午睡を貪っていた城の愉快な面々も、
何事も無かったかのように、彼等の愉快な日常を再開した。

――そして彼女は、
生まれた姫を森に捨てることとなる……。

After ascending the narrow spiral staircase, I saw an old woman spinning thread alone

“I’m spinning yarn.”
“Then, what’s that? That interesting-looking thing spinning round and round!?”
“Ah...what...hnn...”


“I see, so that’s why you were embraced by wild roses.
Do you want a kiss leading towards your awakening?
But too bad, I’m not your prince charming!
Now, it’ll be soon. Wait upon your fated other in the world of dreams...”

The flickering flame of the candle lights up the slumbering darkness.
